With the Avalon’s 17-gallon fuel-tank, it has a range of over 600 miles per full tank of gas.

Also widely renowned for its “green” implications is the Toyota Prius. The Hybrid Prius is capable of getting nearly 50 combine miles per gallon by combining a gasoline engine with a clean, quiet electric motor. Capable of being powered by either the electric motor or gasoline engine alone, or both combined, the Prius is as fuel efficient as they come. Also, on the greener side of things, the Prius is certified as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle.

The Avalon and the Prius are not the only Hybrid vehicles by Toyota. There are eight in all, including the Pruis c, Prius, Camry Hybrid, Prius V, Prius Plug-in, Avalon Hybrid, Highlander Hybrid, and the Rav4 EV.
